Mom, this is your warning - you will NOT like this post.  It's my blog, my personal expression, and I'm not entertaining arguments about language.  You won't like the subject matter at all either.  Love you, want you to be forewarned if you choose to read it.


FUCK YOU to all you goddamned asshole pet owners out there.  You people who let your dogs run free to get hit by a car (wanna know how long she cried?  It was LONG.  Like 10 seconds of a horrible squeal and screaming in pain - I think maybe she got dragged?) in the middle of the night outside MY apartment.  So I (and my fabulous neighbor Chad) ran outside, found her, and took turns running back inside to get stuff.  Like a leash to catch her (because she's skittish and wouldn't come near me the past several nights I've seen her outside while walking Teddy) and a cell phone (to call animal control).  Even though she's skittish, it was pretty easy to catch her, that broken leg or hip and all.  So she cowered in the gutter while strange people talked to her and pet her and wrapped a leash around her neck and waited for animal control to come.  Sweet dog, considering how frightened she must have been.  If it's just a simple clean break she'll get the vet care she needs and wait for someone to claim her.  If you don't figure out she's missing, maybe she'll be adopted, since the shelter just got their numbers back down to manageable levels last week.  Of course, if it's a bad break or her back or something, she'll be put to sleep. 

Oh, we'd have called you first if you'd had a collar on her.  Or a microchip.  Or something useful. 

Go ahead, put up the "LOST DOG" posters.  I'm dying to fill you in.
