It's 4:30am
So yeah, I should've gone to sleep a REALLY long time ago. But I didn't feel like it. I felt like watching some more West Wing and planning a massive set of headshot dropoffs. So I did. And I'm not done yet.
But anyway, there's a reason I'm posting and that reason is Lee Garlington. Now THERE'S a woman with a fabulous IMDB page.
And I'm watching her in an episode of West Wing and I'm trying to remember where I know her from, and I look on IMDB to try and figure it out and I realize it could be from a MILLION different TV appearances or well-known films... but no, I'm SURE it's something specific that I've seen over and over again, so I'm scrolling up and down through the list....
And then I see it. 1987 saw the birth of one of the finest movies ever made, and Ms. Garlington played the Gym Instructor.
I'm satisfied now. Back to the brilliance that is Aaron Sorkin... who, I'm sure, was a HUGE John Hughes fan.
(BTW, Shooter is worth seeing just for the creepy performance by Elias Koteas, whom I adore. Just sayin'.)
