The best purchase EVER.

So okay the best purchase EVER might be the laptop I'm using right now (though larger laptops are a bitch to find cute cases for, don't say I didn't warn you) but the NEXT-best purchase ever has got to be the Dirt Devil KONE I bought last night.

This morning it was all charged and ready for me in its graphite-colored cuteness, so I waged a little war against the dust bunnies.  They're more like dust elephants in my house (I think Teddy alone generates two or three a day) and with TV and computer cords, they're a pain in the ass.  But I'm just so pleased with myself for finally getting a dustbuster-type-thing 'cause quite frankly, it's perfect for dust bunnies!  It's not powerful enough to clean off the cat tree or anything but it's perfect for what I bought it for AND it's cute enough to leave out, which is good since I have no closet space.

I'm so pleased with myself.

Spent yesterday doing drop-offs in the Valley, which was actually a lot of fun.  Yes, it was too hot, but it made me feel like I was doing something to help my acting career along, you know?  And that's important.    I also am amazed at the casting offices near my house that I didn't know about before yesterday so that's also a nice surprise.  AND I passed THREE Volvo specialty mechanics/used car dealerships just in the Valley alone!  Wouldn't that have been great if I still had a Volvo?

Today I'm studying for the math SAT.  I'm really amused.  But I realized I'd forgotten A LOT of algebra and geometry, so I picked up a study guide yesterday and am going to try and think of it as amusing and fun.  I really just want to go buy a donut and watch West Wing, but my first training session for this tutoring gig is tomorrow and I should probably take that math SAT soon, so.

Finally - BONNIE'S SHOWCASE TONIGHT, WOO HOOOOOOO!   www.cricketfeetshowcase.com, people!
