So I was walking Teddy about a block from my house in super-rural Van Nuys (that was sarcasm), and right across the street from us were the two biggest raccoons I've ever seen.  Almost Teddy-sized and they would make Oliver look small, so I'm thinking maybe in the realm of 35 pounds?  HUGE.  Teddy thought they were pretty darned cool.  They didn't worry much about Teddy.  Watched one of them climb a chain link fence just like a 4-year-old human would, seriously neat critters.  And HUGE!

I still love The West Wing.  I'm feeling much better and theoretically didn't NEED to sit in front of the TV all day - but I couldn't think of anything better to do that didn't involve planning it in advance.
