The West Wing
Okay, so I LOVE THE WEST WING. I'm just saying. I've been sick the past couple days and so I've been watching it like mad. I never quite finished the series, so I've started over with Season 1. I'm watching Ainsley Hayes' first day (early Season 2), for you fans out there.
This show is just so elegant and beautifully shot and funny and warm and strong - it's fabulous.
Last night I had a fun audition - it said it was for a Japanese reenactment commercial on the breakdown. Well, it wasn't QUITE a commercial, it was for the TV show that I worked on a couple months ago.
The very nice guy who showed me around San Francisco, Naomichi, was running sign-in,, which was a really fun surprise. Anyway, I didn't get cast this time, but I can attirbute it in my mind to having recently been on it.
It was a fun audition and I loved working the show - there's something really neat about a young crew speaking a language you don't speak and having a translator to help communicate between the actors and director.
Hmmm. I'm still getting used to this laptop - I seem to have hit a bizarre combo of keys and changed the font here. If it shows up wonky on the blog, that's why....
