So, when I said that healthy friends is a good thing, and that I was keeping my fingers crossed for friends who needed it, that was NOT an invitation to the universe to cause said friends to wreck their motorcycles.  NOT WHAT I HAD IN MIND. 

No life or limbs lost, though I think there's some serious owies going on.  Sigh. 

The rest of the day: YAY for Lindsay Hollister in Get Smart!   And YAY for the Grauman Chinese Theater, which is just so beautiful.   And YAY for friends with whom you can split a milkshake.  Seriously, when's the last time you split a milkshake with someone?  It's so 1950s!   And YAY for smart, funny, nice people.   But a BIG BOO to bad dog owners who make life very difficult for people with consciences.

HEY!  My music improv performance class/group thingy, named Improperetta, has its FIRST SHOW tomorrow at 3:30pm at Second City!  Come see us improvise an hour-long musical based on an audience suggestion!  It's going to be a blast - we have some seriously amazingly talented new people this semester and come on - even if we're not brilliant our first time out, it's MUSIC IMPROV.  The concept ALONE is awe-inspiring.
