We're queer!
So today was kind of eventful. I had a meeting with a manager, which was interesting! Nice guy, nice chat though a short one. I'm not 100% sure I want/need a manager at this point, but I can definitely see where a good manager would be a great thing, you know? This is one of those issues that's going to require some serious thought!
Today was also the reading of Queer, the Musical at the Hudson Theater and I think it went well. I wish we'd had a larger audience for the writer's sake, but I liked what I did so there ya go.
Can't wait until there's MUSIC for those lyrics - I think it's tough to do a book-and-lyrics reading of a musical.
Tomorrow (that's Sunday for those of you who can't remember what day it is) I've got a music improv show at 3:30 at Second City. It's crazy. We just make stuff up and create an improvised musical with - and this is the crazy part - an ACTUAL PLOT - right there, on-the-spot, and boy howdy is that hard! I ADORE this class. I really do. But I think I may have to take a semester off from it to afford other classes that I need to take and also to have a few weekends free for some camping and other pursuits. I'm not sure yet though 'cause BOY HOWDY do I like taking this class. Besides, it feels like quitting whenever I stop something of my own accord. I need to get over that.
Monday I'm taping another episode of MANswers for SpikeTV, woo hoo!
Should be a lot of fun.
In other news, I've decided there's no other news and that everything's hunky-dory. BUSY!
