Oh good lord.

So I was supposed to have a wardrobe appointment with my agent today to look at clothes for the headshot shoot I was supposed to have tomorrow before my hair went spontaneously red.  So of course, I've spent the weekend scrambling to get my hair back to blonde and find a few last-minute wardrobe additions.  The hair went sorta back to blonde, sorta to a light chestnut brown... I don't know what to call it.  The wardrobe thing was bad.  I seriously almost left one store with the words, "I'm sorry, I'm feeling really pressured and I'm going to leave now."  But I didn't.  It was unpleasant.  That said, if I had a million dollars, I would've bought some really cute stuff at other stores.... ah well.

SO I get up early this morning and it's raining.  Okay, fine.  But I need to do a little bit of laundry (and we're all keeping our fingers crossed for my new favorite t-shirt, which is newly splattered with HAIR DYE, right?) so I get up, take the laundry to the laundromat in the rain, buy a croissant (yay) and go home in the rain, go back to the laundromat in the rain to switch over the clothes to the dryer, go home in the rain and shower.

I come out of the shower to a message from my dentist - evidently I made an appointment for something or other for tomorrow morning.  Um.  Okay...  so I'm writing it on my calendar so I won't forget it, hoping that indeed I DON'T have a headshot shoot still scheduled for tomorrow, when the phone rings.  It's my agency, calling to tell me that it's Martin Luther King day so we'll have to reschedule my wardrobe appointment.  Okay fine.  So I call my headshot photographer to make sure we're really not shooting tomorrow, 'cause that was all a little fuzzy since they were trying to reschedule someone else at the same time, etc.  Left a message.  I also called my old hair salon in San Diego to try and see if my old stylist has had her baby, if my old colorist has had HER baby, and if perchance my old colorist is back to work.  Left a message.

I have to go get my laundry.  In the rain.

So, you don't want to hear about my dental appt., or about the freezing (but dry) cold in the east? At least you had a croissant....I had a tuna sandwich. Good tuna, but who puts mustard and raw onion on a tuna sandwich? !!! Just thought I would say "hello".
