Seriously, 2007 was for the birds.  Yes, some fabulous things happened for me last year, but good heavens I'm looking forward to 2008.  You know that song "A Long December" by Counting Crows?  Yeah.  Like that.

SO.  Moving on!  2008!  Yeah.  So the plan for this week is to work on my sketches in our FABULOUS show called Seven Crackers and a Brownie  - tech rehearsal is Friday night.  We'll be running at Second City at 9:30pm Friday nights for 8 weeks starting on January 11th, industry comps available, email me for details!  Overall plan: get my agent-hunting butt in gear for a good theatrical agent, find a great class, get new headshots (I'm thinking of dying my hair a little darker, actually - I think I could use a break from the bright blonde, what do you think?) and get my butt in gear!  I guess I'll probably need a job to pay for stuff, huh?  That sucks!  Oh well.   It's about time.

The tricky part about getting what you want is it forces you to put up or shut up, you know?   Now that I'm IN LA, I'd better get to those classes, work on those monologues, hit those open calls, etc.  I wish they sold discipline in a bottle!
