All quiet...

Well, there's just not that much going on since my last blog!  I went down to San Diego and picked up some more of my stuff (good lord I own a lot of stuff!) and had a nice dinner with my fab friends, and came back up here.  Driving back and forth is more fun with the dog, even if he does just sleep the whole way.  It makes it feel like a fun adventure.

So I'm trying to trap the friendly local (local to San Diego) stray and take him to my parents' house when I go for Christmas, yeah?  Well, trying to trap the stray kitty is harder than it sounds.  Now I've got the neighbor who had him neutered helping, and I gotta say - I don't like relying on other people.  I ALMOST HAD HIM a couple times.  As in, "was putting him into the kennel" kind of almost.  Very frustrating to someone who's ego is way too wrapped up in animal expertise.  We'll just have to see how this week goes.

My apartment is a disaster area right now.  I really need to buy another bookshelf for the other side of the TV stand, and then I'll be able to get the rest of the books put away at least.  But there's a lot of stuff that just doesn't quite have a home yet, and that means it's MESSY.  And I don't like that 'cause it's quite a cute apartment and I really need to sweep the pretty hardwoods...   So I guess I'll take advantage of this quiet time to clean.  Whee.  Fun.

It's grey today, it reminds me of days in Maryland where you'd just be watching for the first few snowflakes.  Thankfully, it's not that cold.  Sadly, it's not likely to snow either.

In acting news - well, there's not a lot to report.  Sending out postcards for our Seven Crackers and a Brownie show at Second City, to let people know I'm local now... that sort of thing.  Catching up on my "what do you mean you've never seen that movie?" list....
