Okay, well, where was I?

I auditioned for Bonnie's showcase, which made me terribly terribly nervous.  If you can imagine getting into a slo-mo car accident where you KNOW why you're in trouble and you know exactly what you did to land in this predicament, yet somehow you seem completely unable to do anything about fixing it, well, that's kinda what it was like.  The GOOD news is that it can't get that much worse, which takes the pressure off for next time.   What bugs me is that I knew better, I knew I was likely to be a bundle of nerves, and yet I didn't handle it to the best of my abilities.  ARGH!  Oh well - next time, right?

Anyway, the next day I had a last-minute audition for a really neato feature film for a really sweet CD I've met a few times, so that was nice.  I loved the bits of script I read, I liked what I did with the character, and that helped my confidence a lot to have a good audition.

Since then, I've been mostly working on having some fun, cooking some curry, submitting myself online, working on some sketch stuff, etc.  Today was busy with an improv class, a show, and an audition for a student film.  I really felt good about today's audition - it was improv, which was nice after, oh, 5 hours of warmup earlier in the day.   Nice people too, I'd like to work with them.  Oh, and it was at USC, where the Emmys were being held, which was interesting in a rather boring sort of way.

But there's some interesting news to report!  Of course, I can't possibly report it until I have a date and time set for it to actually happen....
