Busy busy busy!
Okay, so this weekend was just too busy for me. We went out downtown on Saturday night to a tapas bar (yes, really) and then to a dueling piano bar (I know!) and that's just way too much socialization for me. Sunday we drove to LA for our last Conservatory 3 improv show, and stayed for drinks/dinner/chatting, which is EXACTLY enough socialization for me. Today I've been shopping for rehearsal tonight, baking cookies for rehearsal tonight, making fudge for rehearsal tonight, and later on I'll be going to ... you guessed it... rehearsal.
The play's going great. Y'all should come see it. I'm in The Pygmalion Project at the Actors Alliance of San Diego's fabulous little festival, info can be found at www.actorsalliance.com and we're on Wednesday and Friday.
In other news, I'll be taking Conservatory 4 at Second City in a couple weeks. Levels 4 and 5 sort of run together and serve as an introduction to creating a SC-style sketch show. Actual scripted stuff, wow!
Should be a LOT of fun, looks like we'll have a great class. Info on the FREE student shows can be found on the Second City website (www.secondcity.com)
Oh, two more things - there was a hawk sitting atop his newly killed pigeon in our street this morning, and there's one tiny tomato growing on one of my tomato plants. Yay!
