Yet More Fun!
So yesterday was a blast.
I went up to LA to do a make-up improv class since I missed mine on Wednesday night for the Pool Party screening, some really talented people in that other class.
Stayed around to chat and gossip with some peeps, saw a Level 4 show that was really impressive too.
After all THAT (and some seriously mediocre Mexican food), I went to shoot a scene in Presence, a neat indie horror film.
I play a woman who's drowned, so this required a good bit of water, some dribbling blue Gatorade, and a couple hours (yes, really) of special effects makeup on my arms, chest, neck, face, and ears (eek!). Seriously though - I had a great time. These makeup people were great (two of them are producers at Vivendi, so we had video games to talk about!) and sooo gentle and careful and nice. The whole crew was great, actually, and I really really hope they got the shot they wanted. It was a long long tricky camera shot, fun but really challenging for me. But FUN! I'll be shooting one other day on this film and I'm looking forward to it!
In other news, there are no plots available at the local community garden. I'm very sad. But I'm on the waiting list.
