So our improv/sketch show this weekend went WAY better than I'd have hoped, considering our instructor/director was out of town and we were a man down as well.  We stepped up, and we DEFINITELY had fun.  Hopefully the audience did too.

Have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy my acting class?  Yes?  Well, let me mention it again.  Today's fun came from working with a new partner on great material - first read-through of a scene, first time working with her (she's very lovely and talented) - and boy howdy did we have fun.  I really wasn't looking forward to it, either - I didn't think I really connected with the characters in the scene - basically I hadn't used my brain on the script yet, and once we sat down and looked at it it was love at first sight... gosh, I like this acting thing.  Boy howdy.
