Danger, Will Robinson!
This has been a weird 24 hours... someone walked into our house last night at 2am (yes, barking dog and all - gotta love those drunken bashes next door) and today - well, let's just say thank god for GFCIs. Yeah. I'd stay away from me too.
Oh how funny - I just read that May is Electrical Safety Month. Well, consider this your PSA, people.

Okay... um, what is a GFCI????
And...
Are you KIDDING ME?!? Someone just WALKED INTO YOUR HOUSE?
Sheesh!!!!!!!!
Glad everyone is okay. (Unless, of course, GFCI means you killed the guy or took off his testicles or something, in which case I'm just glad that you're okay.)

GFCI stands for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, which is one of those things that prevents you from being electrocuted if your hair dryer falls into the bathtub while bathing.
Yes, someone just walked into our house. A drunk guy, we guess, who had the wrong building... we think. We were actually surprised by how vicious our dog WASN'T. He was barking, sure, but this dog who barks/growls at all strangers was somewhat sedate... very weird.
Everyone's fine. But I'm staying the hell away from the fish tank for a bit.

Tell me again why mothers enjoy reading their daughter's blog?
If it hadn't been for Teddy barking would you have actually heard anyone entering your apt?

Well, we were in the living room so Terry saw him - I was sleeping on the couch. So, maybe? It depends on how quiet he would've been before he figured out he was in the wrong place?

Yeah, my apartment's a scary place. We're going to LA today where it's safer.

Ahhhhh, that's why the door wasn't locked. I couldn't imagine you going to bed without locking up. I'm surprised one of the cats (and we all know which one she is) didn't try to escape. Hope you had a good time in LA......much safer with all the theatre people there! Love, Mum
