Hurry up and wait.
Yeah. Not much going on right now. Phone's not ringing, there's not even a lot to submit on, breakdown-wise. I need to do some drop-offs, networking, etc, act like I'm busy in order to BE busy. I'll start that tomorrow.
Fish-wise - well, same story, really. I've got a gross filter pad in the tank now, ammonia for the bacteria to eat, etc... and now what I really need to do is wait for bacteria to eat, multiply, eat some more, etc. Unfortunately they haven't started yet. It's been two or three hours, and nothing's happening yet, and I have many many days left before I'll be done. I hate waiting.
So there is ONE thing that's exciting - we're going to New York! See, here's the thing. When we were in England a while back, I saw that Kevin Spacey was going to be doing Moon for the Misbegotten at the Old Vic. Well, I wanted to go back to London to see it, but that's kind of pricey and I kind of forgot and it kind of never happened. But then my dear friend Cindy goes to London, sees it, comes home and raves about it and I, in a fit of jealousy, pout... until I somehow, somewhere discover that it's being brought to New York! Hallelujah! So there was a second chance for me to see what's PROBABLY my favorite play with an amazing cast and so yeah, we're going to go to NYC just for this play.
Oh, I might see a few more when I'm there. And we might do some sightseeing. And it WILL be our anniversary.
But really - I GET TO SEE MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN!!!!!
