I just love my life sometimes.   I had a great audition the other day with some neat people who said they wanted to see me at callbacks - doesn't go much better than that!  I've been helping a great CD for months and she's just fabulous.  I'm in a great improv class with great people, I'm helping with auditions for a film being made by some very cool people, I'm helping with a film screening and probably another film's production, I have great friends, and I'm going to have fish.  Yes, fish.  I'm very excited.  The actual FISH are weeks off, but I did get a small tank today to use as a quarantine tank one day... or maybe as a betta tank or something.  It cost $5.  It needs some love.  I'm thrilled, and it's not even LIVING!

But the most AMAZING thing of today?  I got an audition (for Wednesday) for one of my top... two?... plays of all time - written by my favorite living playwright at a MAJOR huge theatre - oh, and the playwright's directing this production, it's a dream role for me, and I'm just SO THRILLED.  SO thrilled.  I read through the sides with my fabulous husband tonight (which is always scary, so much easier to read with a friend or fellow actor than with someone you're so close to!) and I just love reading the scenes.  I love getting to work on that material.  Love it.  I'm just so damned lucky.
