Ahhh, sloth.
Okay, so I haven't actually been all that slothful - just feels that way since I'm still in my pajamas.
I joined Actorsite today! Did I need to? Will I be pleased with my decision? Was it a mistake? Who knows! I just know I'd been considering it for a long time, got lots of opinions from lots of people I respect, and still didn't know if I wanted to join or not, so I figured I should join and try it out for a while.
Heck, I'll call it a Christmas present to myself. Or something. Presents really shouldn't be tax-deductible, you know?
I also just watched the film "Melvin Goes to Dinner" (yes, in my pjs, in front of a fire with the Christmas tree lit, eating leftover pizza... ahhh, sloth) - and I rather liked it. I don't know that it would've held my husband's interest, but it had some great acting (Stephanie Courtney, I SWEAR I know you from somewhere!!!) and a lot of "before they broke" stars in it - and it was interesting! And funny. And I just read a little interview with the director who says he's not terribly sympathetic to the characters (who are nice and real and flawed) and - get this - they are, and I still liked them, so there ya go. I think I related to how those conversations flow - those odd, overly intimate conversations between casual friends/strangers... I dunno, I really rather enjoyed that film.
I got it in a flip folder of Sundance Channel movies that came when we ordered cable a couple years ago - and I never got around to watching them. Maybe I'll go watch another....
