Okay people...

So, you'll have to pay attention here.   You know how I had a recent audition and callback for a commercial/internet/reality TV show at this casting office that's called me in before, where I also got a callback?  Well, they called me in AGAIN for a non-union internet spot!  Hooray!  I consider it official - someone likes me!   Audition's tomorrow morning (not too early, I like them too!) and should be simple - specifically said "no commercial hair or makeup" - they want real real real geeks.  I'm thrilled.  Means I can roll out of bed, get clean, put on some clean and non-LA-ish clothes and GO.   Maybe brush my hair and put on minimal makeup before going on-camera so my face doesn't completely wash out.  TOTALLY my type of gig.   Woo hoo!

(On another note, the cat's puking again.  Today has been the day of puke.  The dog puked up all over the house this morning (a chunk of Greenies seems to have been the culprit), the cat puked this afternoon (I ran and hid and made Terry clean it up), our dear friends' cute baby has been spitting up like a sprinkler (dad does a great imitation) all day, and now cat's pukin' again.  Hairball remedy to the rescue - happily, she ACTUALLY LIKES IT.  Thank god.)

Today's task was fabulous - we went apple picking in Julian.  It's about a 1.5-2 hour drive from here, up twisty windy little roads through the countryside into the mountains.  Gorgeous weather, delicious little apples, a little wine tasting, a little chicken fried steak, way too many jars of fruit butters and jams - great little jaunt.   San Diego County is absolutely amazing.  It's just gorgeous and so diverse - we need to take advantage of it more often.
