Well, after two surgeries resulting in the complete loss of his ear canal - the earless kitty still had cancer cells, which spread into his sinuses, he ended up with a horrid infection, and was put to sleep last week.  Lessons learned: skin cancer in cats is evil, infections that don't heal are suspect and need attention sooner rather than later.  And if you ignore that, there are consequences.
