Well, my morning audition wasn't for a cult.  They weren't conspicuous enough to be a cult.  They weren't conspicuous enough for me to FIND them, actually.  Oh well, I sent an apology via email.  Considering I ran into about 20 other actors who couldn't find them either, I'm not going to lose too much sleep over it. 

So I'm at Kinko's checking my email for sides for my second audition (which is all nice and confirmed, yay!) but they're not there - I'm guessing there was an email address typo issue?  Or hotmail's hating me again.   No problem, I'll just get there a little early and steal a set of sides to prep with. 

Traffic seems to be a bit of an issue in Southern California.  I know, quite the news flash, eh?  I've just spent several hours driving around, and it's frustrating to find a store you need to go to (my cell phone's screwed up) and not be able to park and get into it.  No parking.  None.  And it was right near an IKEA - but alas, the piece of furniture I wanted was sold out there too.  But a little item of note - it seems they only have one eatery, placed at the exit on one side of the exit doors with the tables on the OTHER side of the exit doors - which again, speaks to a bit of a traffic problem.  And that's not even getting into what I saw in Newport Beach at noon on a sunny Saturday....

Anyway, think really good thoughts for me and my audition in a couple hours.  And for easy traffic on the drive home - did I mention there appears to be a football game at USC today?  Sigh.
