Well, this audition made up for the one I missed this morning.  Let's just say we did the sides A LOT.  With accents.  And redirects.  It was like class with someone pointing out the weird tics you've developed in your auditioning (okay, and acting - I know, I smile when I'm angry/scared/whatever emotion is generally not conducive to smiling - it's a terrible tell) - which was fabulously helpful but a little disheartening.  Nice guy though, really.   Good script.  And the best part - running into other people I've worked with or met before!   Always fun, and really a neat treat for me - I live so far away from LA but it makes me feel like yes, I AM part of the acting community.

Anyway, time to go chill out for a while.  Long drives today.  Nose is a little sore.  Don't think the two are connected.
