So we went to see Hamlet in the park today - wonderful idea, theatre outside on the lawn with a picnic.  By the way, Mom - we did use the picnic basket you gave us, and it worked out great!  Utensils!  Plates!  Cups!  And insulated space for the food!  Lovely.   I sincerely regret not buying the imported danish blue cheese though - it would've been so themely!    Saw some good friends, got to introduce my dear husband, saw a good play, ate some good cheese, etc.  

I did not use the flea-killing carpet powder.  I did buy some flea spray for the dog - it's the same brand as what we used to use at the SPCA (but we used their powder) so I felt okay buying it and trying it - so far the dog seems completely untraumatized and is enjoying his Greenie.   I will use the powder on the carpet.  Really.  I will.

In acting news - no, there is no acting news.   Hopefully there will be one day soon.  Seeing a play is great.  Inspiring.  I've got to work on my monologue before class tomorrow (I know, too little, too late) - one of the fabulous women I hung out with tonight told me she's really enjoying that monologue, which was nice to hear.  I really enjoy it too, so.   Monolog?  Monologue?  Ehn, who cares.
