Lazy days!

So today was of the "sleep really late, hang around, play some games, go to Costco, head to your friends' and see their cute (and bigger!) baby, then head home and hang around some more" variety.

Surprises:  Terry got angrier than me at the crowds at Costco, neither of us like the chocolate chip cookies I baked  yesterday (though FIVE HUNDRED reviewers at allrecipes.com seem to disagree with us), and boy howdy is that baby getting big!   Oh, and I got to see all the cute (but surprisingly sports-themed) stuff my mom sent my friend's baby.   What's up with the sports, mom?   For those of you who don't know my mom - she's just NOT a jock in any way, shape or form, so her sending out baseball-themed overalls is just... weird.   But she's so so sweet.

Last surprise:  A downloadable copy of the last SDSU film I worked on - that looks PHENOMENAL.  It was shot on 35mm so I had high hopes for it but it looked kind of - murky? - at the screening I attended.  I think it must have been the projection because the copy I have looks great.  I can't wait to have an actual finished-and-scored copy on DVD in a pretty box - but I'm soooo pleased to be able to see it again!   Demo reel?  One day.   I'm in a very short scene in this film but it's a good scene, so I'm pleased.   I'll have to go over some of my other pieces and see how much material I've accumulated....

Tomorrow's plan:  drink lots of water, send the cookies elsewhere, go to acting class.  Hooray!   If you dream about auditioning with your current monologue and you get through 95% of it, does that count as a rehearsal?

Clarification please. These were not outfits that looked like mini sports uniforms, perhaps one or two had a tiny embroidered baseball or something. Anyway, I do know some things about sports.....I can name lots of golfers (thanks to grandad's obsession with that sport) and I have been known to watch Wimbledon!
I'm also smart enough not to go to a Costco type store in what I suspect was the middle of a Sunday afternoon. Sheesh.
    Love you. Mum
