Done!

I finished my Apple II game.   Now, this is a game with lots of replay - well, at least the first stage has lots of replay, the rest is just... well, it's not really deep.   So obviously I'll be playing it a lot more.  But I got through it once.   The fun part is when there's a bug in the program and it shoots you to a prompt, but if you can debug it you can reassign values to variables and try and rerun it from any given point - so you can theoretically keep playing even after the game crashes.  And who said BASIC was a crappy language?   The pain in the butt is that you can only see 2-3 lines of code at once because the game graphics stay up, so you can't really see which variables you need to muck with half the time....

But I digress.  My inner geek has been satisfied, and that's really all you need to know.

Acting-wise:  I hate weekends.   I haven't heard anything about the play I auditioned for, so I'm assuming that's a no.  I don't WANT to assume that, but it's really best if I do.   Oh well, back to the drawing board - hopefully I can find another good play to audition for soon!  I've been self-submitting to films and TV roles online, but getting those auditions is slowwwww for me.  Oh well, I'll keep on submitting and sending out my headshots and working as much as I can, it'll pick up slowly over the next 10 years, right?

I baked cookies today.  Oh oh oh, and I got... CURRY!    TWO kinds of curry.  I splurged.  Happiness is having a few bites of yellow curry, followed by a few bites of green curry, then back to a few bites of yellow curry, just for that feel-good moment.  Ahhhhh.  Curry.
