Nap Time!
So yesterday I got up at 5am to go up to North Hollywood (the Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, woo hoo!) for a Disney open call. Finally auditioned just before 2pm, kicked butt but they had no interest in me. Phooey on them!
Actually, it seemed like a good group of people to work for, I really would've enjoyed that. Oh well!
Definitely something to audition for in the future.
Went and helped Bonnie a bit, chatted a bit, went and grabbed some Thai food on my way to my new and improved improv class at Second City - was great to see all the fabulous people from last class, met some neat new people, and missed those who couldn't continue on very very much. The new teacher seems totally kick-ass - we're all a little star-struck with her still.
She worked with Joan Cusack and Chris Farley and she's like a real actor.
She seems fun but tough, which will work out well I think. She has some fun tricks up her sleeve I think.
So then I came home. And today I have a haircut and an audition this evening, so I'm going to go take a nap 'cause I'm just NOT caught up on sleep. ![]()
Oh, and I have one hell of a blister on my foot. I neeeeed to buy some new audition shoes.
