Oh how fabulous.

I love this.

Okay, so I was looking at auditioning for a play at a well-respected local theatre, so I went down to the local actors association's office (www.actorsalliance.com - awesome organization!) to check out the script.  I'm there a few minutes, flipping through the script, during which time a man comes in, talks to the fabulous women in the office, and leaves.  I return the script to the office, say my goodbyes, and head home.

Today I get a call from a director of another play at that same theatre asking me to audition for her piece this week!  Yay!  But get this - she got my name from the guy that runs the theatre - whom I don't believe I've ever met.  Was he the mysterious man who came into the office when I was checking out the script, and did he notice me taking an interest in his company's plays?

I don't know.  But I'm getting a rep... without doing any work... which is... weird.   But GREAT!

Wooo hoooo, love the auditions.  SO excited.  "Doing a good local play" is on my goals list for this year - don't know that I'm really QUITE right for these roles in this piece but it sure sounds interesting to me!!!  And it's a cold read audition near my house, which is just so darn exciting and such a nice change.   And it even pays a little bit!  And it's an off-night play (runs like Mon-Wed), which is cool too!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love this stuff.
