Boy, howdy.

That's one cute baby.   I got to hold him and burp him and I didn't have to change a single diaper.  I like being useful.   Especially when it's so darn easy to be helpful, you know?

Hillcrest is the coolest freakin' neighborhood.  I had to park miles and miles away from the very busy hospital today but walking through Hillcrest was a real pleasure.  Neat boutiques, shops, eateries, friendly people, dogs, etc... just a lovely place.  Love San Diego.  Love it.

What else - not much going on.  Watching Eureka (Sci Fi Channel) off the DVR and I'm enjoying it.  It's sort of silly.  Some really good actors on it too... and it's definitely quirky.  Gotta look up the CD and send in my headshot!

There's a thread on a message board about Special Skills to list on your acting resume.  I always found myself a little lacking in Special Skills, though I'm sure I'm fabulous in the Ordinary Skills department.  So now I'm taking suggestions.  I'm thinking I should learn German - no particular reason, just because I have a CD-Rom program to teach it to me.   Any other ideas?

Yeah, I could be German.  There's definitely a place for me in the "scary East German Masseuse" milieu.    Hmmm, somewhere I might still have my husband's Finnish tapes....

I'm an honorary auntie!   I'm SO thrilled.  He's so cute.  I've never been the particularly maternal type, but this guy's soooo cute.   It's just amazing when it's the child of someone you're really close to - he's just... well, let's just say I'm attached.
