Okay, okay... I'll update my blog.

Happy 4th, everyone!  Terry and I spent the day cleaning like fiends and shopping in preparation for our dear dear friends coming over to grill and chill.  Best part - dear dear friends are easy to trick into doing the grilling FOR us!    Actually, the truth is that we're not the best grillers, and our friends are better cooks than we are... so the menfolk had a little cooking class while my friend and I talked.   I felt her baby kick/move/twitch, which was SO COOL.   Very fun, relaxing evening.  And the house is sooooo clean now!  Which means dirty to all you normal people, but for us this is an amazing, rarely-acheived level of hygiene and civilization. 

I love being able to see bits of several fireworks displays from our house or the street outside.   This is just a FUN place to live.   Life's good.
