I'm really tired.  I went to callbacks on a student film for Columbia College (out of Chicago, their film students evidently can do a "semester in LA" - what fun!) but I wasn't cast.  Still, it was at CBS Radford, which is a neat little studio.  The gate guards were extremely sweet.  After my audition I took a few minutes to peek around (discretely!), maybe do a couple dropoffs - well, let me just say that that's a great idea in theory and a lot harder to put into practice.  I left no headshot behind.  I did do a couple at the offices near the studio, but none on the lot.  I am pretty darn sure I didn't tick anyone off though.  I'm quiet, I didn't even get in a golf cart's way...   Of course it helps that the lot was really, REALLY quiet when I was there.   Passions was taping, that looked about it.

I got a BSW and drove home.  I'm feeling a little sick (maybe my energy was a little low at callbacks?) and I'm trying to get over that, so I've been lounging around in bed most of the evening.  My SWEET husband was in trouble when he was arriving home at 10pm after promising to get home as soon as he can ('cause I'm SICK, damnit!) and so he very wisely stopped and purchased Thai food.  Not only that - he got me TWO curries to choose from!  Thai Time II on Midway in San Diego has an excellent yellow curry as well as my favorite - green curry.  Mmmmmm, curry.  Mmm.  MMMMMMM.  And they're so nice.

So I got my envelopes/labels together for the headshots I didn't drop off and hopefully they should go in the mail tomorrow.  And I will hopefully not be sick.  But I will be sleeping and resting and NOT DRIVING.  Well, not too much, anyway.  Although I'd really RATHER have an audition and have to drive, it will be nice to be home.  Home, with my RADISHES which have sprouted!   I saw 3 or 4 sprouts in the regular pot and only 2 in the self-watering one, so we'll have to see what things look like tomorrow.  Engrossing news, I know.

PS - I did take extra undies with me to LA today, just in case.
