BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Hee.  I shaved the dog.   I did most of it yesterday, while Terry was goofing off in Orange County.  I finished today, with Terry's help - and the dog looks so TINY!  It's amazing how much hair we took off of him.  He's really a little dog under all that hair!   (For the millions of strangers reading my blog, the dog's name is Teddy, which is close enough to Terry to be problematic, and he's a chow mix.)

Next up:  dog needs a bath.  He gets a little break on that though - he's not really fond of grooming/shaving and he SURE doesn't like water, so we'll let him relax a little bit.

In other news:  my beans are still growing well, though "Provider" is beating out "Dragon's Tongue" or whatever it's called by a mile - I don't think I've seen a single bean off the Dragon's Tongue plants.  Whichever ones those are - they're not really well-marked.   And I've started a new radish experiment - two pots, one self-watering (though cracked, so I'm not sure it's a fair trial) and one regular, both roughly the same size.  Two types of radishes in each one (4 plants total in each planter), we'll see if the self-watering pot really does deliver better root veggies.    I'm guessing it will.  According to Mythbusters, I guess I should also play heavy metal music while they grow, eh?    Maybe the neighbors will help me out there.

Oh my god, my husband's vacuuming.  It's a desperate situation in the living room after the shaving.... Yay, Terry!

Oh, and I sent out agent submissions today.  Good Julie, good girl!
