Okay, so it SAYS it's only 77 degrees outside, but I'm sure it's much hotter.  At least, it's much hotter in my house.  Must open all windows and sliding doors today, try and get this place cooled off!

I got a small part in the film I auditioned for, so that's great.  I really love this project and I'm glad to be a part of it.  YES, I wanted the lead, but.   I'm really looking forward to shooting this - they want to "punk me out a bit".

In other news, it looks like we're going to Hawaii in November with Terry's parents!  Woo hoo!  Except for living there for like a year when I was way too young to remember, I've never been, and I'm really really really excited about going.    I think I'll order a guidebook on Amazon today.  I love Amazon.

What else... oh, the touring show of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a good one to miss if you've seen the show before.  They got a HUGE standing ovation though, so if you tend to disagree with me a lot then go see it, you'll love it.  Patrick Cassidy is... well... to steal a line from Forbidden Broadway (which IS worth seeing) - let's just say the show's "not too kosher, 'cause it's the hammiest night in theatre today...."  Amy Adams has a lovely voice, but you can't hear her very well through 80% of it.  And if you like productions which have been "modernized" by having a cell phone onstage during, say, biblical times (or Shakespearean, but that's a whole other rant), you'll love it.  What is UP with that trend, by the way?  It's not funny, people!  We've seen it before!  It's not original!  Cut it out!

So what's next?  I've no idea.  Terry's in Orange County playing Dungeons & Dragons.    At least he's having fun.  I'm thinking of shaving the dog.  It's hot.
