Infomercials EVERYWHERE!

So okay, yesterday I taped an infomercial - I was a testimonial chicky, which meant I got the product a few weeks ago and was tasked with using it and saying something nice about it on-camera.  The production company on this was Sylmark, for whom I've worked before, and they're really a good group of people.  I got to see one of the producers and an assistant from the last infomercial I did, everyone knew my name from my picture and made a point of greeting me, etc.  It was definitely a different experience from the last one, but it was a good experience.

I'm not a patient person.  I want to be cast in something fabulous, and I want to be fabulous IN it.   That doesn't mean I'm not going to actually work towards it as if I was a patient, persistent and very logical person.  I just want y'all to know that it's a front and really I just want to be a brilliant actor NOW NOW NOW.  Hey, I have my moments, you know?   I have an audition tomorrow for a part I really like in a play I'd really like to do and I'm just not sure I've got the right monologue for the audition.  It's also the first time auditioning with this particular monologue and it's the first time auditioning for this particular theatre company, and they ASKED me if I was interested in auditioning, so I'm a little nervous.  I've been working/preparing a good bit though, so I'm going to go to bed and hopefully wake up, go over the monologue once or twice, go and audition and forget all that crap about the monologue and the theatre company and the cool play and just try to do my best thang.
