Is it naptime yet?

Okay, so I just got up.  I'm tired.  I have a whole, beautiful, lovely, LA-free day today - which would be just great except I have to go get cat and dog food.  I'm afraid to walk the dog this morning since his diet last night consisted of cat food and dog treats... poor dog.  Well, he thought it was pretty cool, but still, we're such bad pet owners sometimes.

Yesterday was good - drove to LA, filed some headshots for Bonnie while she went over the electronic submissions for her new casting gig (and got a really neat view of how she sorts through people, what submissions look like when they come in, etc - SO cool) - and I got my very own cool hot pink mini swingline stapler! :)  Thanks, Bonnie! :)  Now I need staples, which are evidently very hard to find... we'll see. :)

Anyway, left Santa Monica at 5, got to Samuel French at 6 which is RIGHT when they close and boy howdy they don't stay open a second past 6.  No Backstage West for me - okay, so it's sold at newsstands, etc, but I had to get food and get to class by 7 so it just didn't happen.  Class was good (I don't like games/exercises where you do a lot of miming though!) and when I left class I had a call on my cell phone asking me to audition for a play in San Diego - yay! :)  It's a neat piece that I thought I was probably completely unsuited for when I saw the audition notice, so I was really surprised when I got that message - but happy!  Yay! :)  Gotta get a copy of that script....

Must shower now. :)  I need more auditions - so think good thoughts for me, I need the help.  Otherwise I might just have to feng shui my house just like Bonnie's - fame altar and everything.  Although I don't want fame.  I wonder if there's a "strong success and continual work without hype and drama" altar?
