I wonder where the last part of that last entry went?  Oh well, couldn't have been too important.

Had an over-the-phone audition yesterday for a neat role in a new non-union pilot - hopefully the very nice CD will call me to come in in person.  She said she'd probably call people last night, but I got no call - sigh. :) I'd love to do this shoot.  I did have an audition coaching session scheduled before the audition, so I got to really work on the sides ahead of time.  It's a good kick-in-the-pants to remind yourself that no, you DON'T prepare as hard as you should sometimes... Annie worked my patookas off, which was great. :)

So today's our anniversary, which is great 'cause Terry's inspired to cook. :)  Woo hoo!  :)  I also got an audition for a film I submitted on (through Backstage West) on Tuesday - they sent me the sides and the full script.  I'm only on page 10 but I've LOVED it so far - really.  REALLY really.  If the rest of the script holds up, I'll cut off an arm to make coffee for the crew one day.  The writer/director's done some good stuff too - worked on a few great TV shows, taken films to Sundance, won some awards, written a few features with people like Anthony Hopkins in them, etc.  So this could be a really good project.  Can't wait to finish the script.

Oh, we watched Traffic last night, which is a very very good film.  Michael Douglas is excellent in it.  And I'm not his biggest fan.  Topher Grace and Erika Christensen are great too.  Oh, and Don Cheadle!  Heck, everyone's good in it.  :)  No, Mom, I don't recommend it for you, but you knew that. :)
