Okay, so I did drag my lazy butt to the SDSU Summer Film Festival thingy and I am so glad I did. :)  I had a surprisingly good burger and ran into an old castmate, who was there to see a short film he was in.  So we sat together and watched a ton of films and chatted (very quietly). :)  It was great to see him again (really nice guy) and his short was great but his scene in it was just OUTSTANDING.  Really stellar.  So that was fun. :)

After intermission, I watched the second group of films, one of which was the one I acted in.  It's always weird to see yourself on camera but I think this was a marked improvement from some other attempts at acting I've made. :)  I'm not saying it's brilliant, but I will say that other people complimented me on my performance when they didn't even need to, some even before the screening, so that was a good feeling. :)  I can't wait to get a copy so I can watch it (or at least my 30 seconds) over and over and over....

The other fun thing about film festivals is seeing all your friends and acquaintances pop up in various films at the most unsuspecting times.  Who knew Eric could swear like that, and it's WELL worth the price of admission to see Jude playing a priest.  Oh yes.  Good times. :)
