Went gambling today.  Hooray! :)  We went to the casino where I'd filmed that commercial and had a really good time.  The older parts of the casino were awfully smoky (yuck!) but the newer part was smoke-free and the dealers were great and we didn't lose much money. :)

After this, we went to our friends' house for dinner (mmm!) and games and my dearest friend bought me a plant as a thank-you for going to the ER with her.  I think she's misunderstanding the tradition, you're supposed to RECEIVE flowers when you go to the hospital, not buy them for other people, but hey, I'm not telling.  It's a really lovely begonia.  I'm very excited - my radishes need to be accompanied by a little color, you know?

I need an audition.  Everyone keep your fingers crossed for the phone to ring, okay?  Heck, the car's going back to the mechanic tomorrow, so that should guarantee a call, right?
